The Boys & Girls Club of Three Districts
The Boys & Girls Club (BGC) of Three Districts was formed in February of 2002 in Fort Thompson, South Dakota. Our club was developed through a larger initiative by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America to form clubs within Indian country that invest in Native American youth. The organization now operates four clubs in each of the three districts of the Crow Creek Sioux Reservation and primarily serves Native American youth. The Crow Creek Reservation is located in Buffalo County in central South Dakota and is divided into three districts: Fort Thompson, Crow Creek, and Big Bend. The BGC of Three Districts is one of over 200 clubs representing 86 American Indian, Native Hawaiian and Alaskan communities.
In 2009, the BGC of Three Districts served over 470 boys and girls of the Crow Creek community.
